Welcome to A comfy Place Like Home Childcare & Preschool. My name is Tina Hill. I  have owned and operated my own childcare  since 2002, and have never wanted to do anything else. My mission ever since has been to create happy memories and curious minds for the children I look after. My approach to educating and caring for children, is that education encourages creativity, independence and imagination, with the aim of equipping children with the skills needed for continuous learning and development. I am committed to ensuring  that your child receives the most up to date care and support to help with their learning. Also, my goal is to create a safe and loving environment in which parents and children feel comfortable and confident in my care.

I belong to the U.S.D.A. Child Care Food Program (Program funding is provided by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, under the supervision of the California State of Dept. of Education) Children are given nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks to be healthy and grow properly. I must attend at least one nutrition education training each fiscal year. Monitoring the Food Program is required three times a year; and three required yearly visits will be unannounced.

I am a first time Grant Recepeant from First 5 of California. I was granted 4,000 Dollars towards kids furniture, art,and crafts material, musical instruments and much more!!
